SDR Security takes the safety and security of our clients very seriously. All of our personnel go through a security training course that provides them with the skills needed to perform their duties efficiently and productively. The training process is ongoing and progressive throughout the employee’s career to refresh and further develop their knowledge. We have well-equipped classrooms with facilities such as projectors, training equipment, and a sitting capacity of 40 persons.

Our site-specific training courses are designed to enhance the security skills of security personnel and develop management skills in supervisory and management staff. We tailor our courses to fit the needs of our clients and their staff after discussions and an assessment of the training needs.

The Training module covers:

Basic: The basics of physical fitness training, duties, responsibilities and performance for those in guarding positions are taught to cover topics such as correct uniform wear, alertness, obedience, mannerisms, and the badges of rank in both the police force and the military. Students will also learn about the right to private defense, filing FIR reports, and the benefits of PF, ESIC & LWF.

Trade related: The Security Officer will be responsible for handling different types of security, such as reception, gate, store, factory, residence, hotel, mall, bank, ATM, cash in transit, etc. This will include patrolling premises, searching procedures, handing & taking over procedure, register maintenance & log book, handling of keys, handling CCTV, metal detector, breath analyser & other security instruments. The Officer will also be responsible for examining identification papers and report writing for supervisor and above post.

Emergency: A trained security personnel is an asset to an organisation. Our training program is designed to cover all aspects of training, from physical fitness and classroom training to on-the-job training and specialised training. The aim of our program is to make security guards self-reliant in their day-to-day routines and empower them to provide assistance during times of crisis.

Pre Deployment Activity

Here at SDR Group, we always start by sending our operation team to visit the site for a survey so that we can get a better understanding of the security needs of our client’s premises. Based on the survey report, we then design a security setup that we believe will be most effective. We also prepare a detailed set of instructions that includes a charter of duties for security personnel, what our clients expect from us in terms of security, emergency procedures and other relevant details. All of this is done in consultation with the client so that they are always kept in the loop.

Post Deployment Activity
Supervision, Rotation & Surprise Checks

Our security personnel are supervised by area officers and area managers who visit our sites regularly, both during the day and at night. In addition, senior executives conduct surprise visits on a regular basis. We have also installed an app on our guards’ mobile phones, which allows us to monitor their movements remotely. This helps us to ensure that our sites are always secure. The attendance of our security guards is automated with time and location punch to better monitor their whereabouts and activity. With the current pandemic, remote monitoring has given us the advantage to keep an eye on our guards 24/7 without physically being present at the site. The rotation of security personnel is done every twelve months, or as per the client’s request. Our staff is subject to transfer in order to prevent them from becoming familiar with employees or the union–which could compromise security interests.

Customer Care Cell

In addition to regular checks, we also have a remote monitoring system, surprise night rounds, and a customer care cell that stays in touch with our clients to get feedback on the services provided and resolve any issues that may arise.

PHYSICAL FITNESS TRAINING FOR SECURITY
One of the most important aspects of being a security guard is maintaining physical fitness. A security guard needs to have endurance and stamina to be able to face the challenges of the job on a daily basis. To increase their physical fitness, security guards need to undergo training that will not only teach them the importance of being physically fit but also motivate them to stay fit throughout their career.
CLASSROOM TRAINING FOR SECURITY
A security guard needs to not only be physically fit, but also skilled and able to professionally perform their duties. Classroom training provides security personnel with the confidence and ability to carry out their work with high efficiency and no mistakes. Our classroom training covers all broad topics, preparing guards to work in any industry. Our classroom is well equipped with the capacity to seat 40 people.
We offer training that is based on real-life situations to make the learning process fun and increase retention rates. Our classroom training methodology includes the following:
● Interactive lectures
● Video presentations
● Case studies
● Group discussion
● Mock drill
● Role playing
● Practical training
They are not only trained in physical security techniques, but also in the use of technological applications and the operation of security devices and systems.
ON SITE TRAINING FOR SECURITY
The physical fitness training program prepares the guards physically and the classroom training hones their mental skills, but on-site training provides them with the specific skills related to the workplace where they will be deployed. On-site training is provided at the workplace and covers all topics related to the work to be carried out there. Our on-site training includes demonstration, practical training, and simulated exercises.
FIRE FIGHTING, FIRST AID AND LIFE SAFETY TRAINING FOR SECURITY AND FACILITY
Fire fighting, first aid and disaster management are important aspects of security that every security guard should be trained in. We provide firefighting training to not just our guards, but to our client’s employees as well so that they can handle fire and save lives together. First aid for various life-threatening incidents can be a very useful tool. Basic level disaster management, such as knowing what to do during an earthquake, flooding or riot, can be very effective during a crisis.
TRAINING FOR FACILITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
We offer both classroom and practical training to our facility personnel to ensure they have the skills necessary to take on their daily tasks with increased efficiency and productivity. The training covers topics such as understanding the various chemicals used in cleaning, their usage, quantity, and careful handling. It also covers equipment usage, safe handling, and maintenance, as well as frequency of cleaning, time keeping, and optimum usage of available manpower.
