The banking sector was the first industry in India to deploy professional security. Banks and financial institutions are critical infrastructure for any nation, and private security companies play a crucial role in securing these
institutions.
Banks are able to secure their premises with the help of CCTV, an Intruder Alarm System, a Strong Room (locker), and most importantly, through the physical deployment of armed or unarmed guards. Being alert and agile are the two most important qualities of security guards deployed at a bank. The mere presence of a security guard is often enough to deter anyone from harming the bank or ATM. A security guard should take every measure to safe guard the bank premises and if the situation goes out of control, he should immediately dial 100 and call the police.
We provide training to security guards deployed at the bank to make sure they understand their role in the event of a robbery. Using code words and controlling the entrance of the bank helps safeguard the bank during a robbery. The security of the teller counter on a daily basis is vital, and guards need to ensure that no unauthorized person enters the protected zone.
